Who am I?
I am in my sixties and a father of two young adults. Brought up in a Methodist household, I now follow an earth based spiritual path, Druidry.

After grammar school and university I went into management, and when I was forty, I became a Total Quality Management facilitator and my life began to change, as I found myself doing something I really enjoyed and believed in i.e. helping to introduce a new organisational culture and facilitating managers and staff in quality improvement teams.

I started my own journey in personal development. Since then I have come to understand something of how I, and other people, manage ourselves in this world.

I am non-judgemental and believe that we all start out life as good, honest, open, loving individuals and learn, from our life experiences, how to behave. We make decisions with the resources we have available in the moment. Much of the time that is fine. However, sometimes we find that what we do is not to our liking, or events happen, which leave us troubled or dissatisfied, and we don’t know how to make things different.

At such times, it can be useful to speak to someone not directly involved in our life. This person (a life coach/counsellor) can help us to find new ways to look at and make sense of our experiences. They can help us to draw on more of our inner resources and find the strength to deal with our situation.

I continue my journey of self development and find this invaluable in helping me to work with other people. I am essentially forward looking and concerned with personal change and personal development. I am particularly interested in making known “the Secret” and the universal law of attraction as a means of helping people to help themselves.

Training & Qualifications:
I trained with the Oasis School of Human Relations, doing a ‘Certificate in Counselling Skills in Work Settings’ and an ‘Advanced Diploma in the Practice of Counselling and the Management of Change’. I also have an ‘Advanced Certificate in Affective Competence’, a ‘Certificate in Trainer Development’ and a ‘Certificate in Developmental Alliances; Coaching, Mentoring, Supervision’.

I am a BACP member and a probationer member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers. I work within their codes of ethics and practice. I evaluate my work in supervision, where I look to develop my practice, which is integrative.
